It turns out that David Nutt has been studying this issue for more than 30 years! The scientist conducted his first research on this topic in the 80s. However, the pharmacologist managed to gather a group of like-minded people quite recently.That's because David Nutt is a very unusual person. The man has repeatedly found himself in the center of various scandals. For example, 10 years ago, Nutt was fired from his post as a consultant to the British government on drug issues, as he openly claimed that alcohol poses a greater threat to humanity than crack and heroin.

Nutt later told the press that horse riding could be even more dangerous than drugs, in particular ecstasy! Yes, yes, just imagine! After these words of the scientist, the majority lost confidence in him.

However, this did not prevent Natt from assembling a group of specialists who help him work on creating a synthetic alcohol molecule. In 2018, his team received more than twenty million pounds from investors! Obviously, there are still people who believe in the genius of David Nutt.

And this despite the fact that the man himself treats classical alcohol quite compromise. Together with his daughter, he runs a small bar in the town of Ealing. Nutt dreams that one day he will be able to add a unique and "safe" drink to the menu of the institution, which they are developing with colleagues. The future invention will be called Alcarelle.
