"You could play a corpse in a horror movie": doctor humiliated girl with anorexia

Kristina Karyagina, whose weight is only 17.2 kilograms, became a victim of medical callousness. That's exactly what her supporters think. The girl's doctor said that with such forms she can "play a living corpse in a horror movie."

Laughing at yourself, as the doctor says, is the only option for a girl to overcome her illness. Despite the good intentions, the doctor's words were criticized on the social network, noting his callousness.

A 26-year-old girl from Barnaul may not live to the end of this year if she continues to refuse food. Now she is in critical condition, and if she continues to adhere to the same diet, her recovery seems impossible.

The girl stopped eating in high school. She tried to achieve the figure of her dreams, limiting herself so much that her portions are barely enough for a pet, not to mention the growing body of a teenager.

Maria Kohno, a well-known media personality and blogger, who herself managed to overcome anorexia and return to full nutrition, launched a whole company to save Karyagina.

According to the girl herself, she has been sitting on a meager diet of small pieces of apple and banana for years. At the moment, Kristina's weight is 17.2 kilograms.

It is surprising that with such a weight she continues to live, because usually when the weight decreases so dramatically, irreparable damage to internal organs leads to death. So, for example, other patients with anorexia, for whom the diet ended in death, weighed on average from 20 to 25 kilograms.

The former anorexic asked more than half a million of her fans to support Kristina, encourage her to eat normally.

However, the focus of attention was not so much Karyagina herself as the joke of her attending physician.

He invited the girl to act as a living corpse in a horror movie, pointing to the bones of the skeleton peeking through under the patient's skin. He admits that in this way he wanted to scare Karyagina and force her to eat. On the one hand, it partially worked, because the girl tried something other than fruit for the first time in the last few years.

On the other hand, he was accused of cruelty towards a sick person and even spoke about his dismissal.

Maria Kohno managed to collect more than 100 thousand rubles for Karyagina's flight to Nizhny Novgorod, where she went to the hospital for treatment. If earlier her diet consisted of a small piece of apple and banana, water and juices, now porridge was added to it, literally forcing the girl to eat.
