What do the names of countries actually sound like in their language?
Have you ever thought about what the Chinese themselves call China? And the Hungarians - Hungary? Often the names of countries in their own language are very different from the Russian or English version, and this in itself is not surprising. But we have selected a few examples for you, so that next time on a trip you will not be confused if you hear this unfamiliar word instead of the usual name of the country.
