The uniqueness of the plant lies in the fact that his extremely large size for a long time did not allow to fully capture it in one photograph. For the first time this has been the team of photographers and scientists of National Geographic.

A giant Sequoia reaches 75 metres in height and 1275 cubic metres in volume.

The width of the tree trunk is 8 meters, and its mighty branches hold 2 billion needles — more than any other tree on the planet.

In addition, the tree is still growing very rapidly.

The giant Sequoia grows only in one place in a Giant forest, Sequoia national Park, California, USA. Small trees in the distance also wear a name — the House and the Senate.

For a long time, the tree nobody has been able to capture entirely.

A group of photographers and scientists of National Geographic was the first who did it. The experts used a huge amount of equipment for scaling of the tree which some say is the largest in the world.

32 days of work and data, 126 individual photos they finally got the portrait of the President, which is breathtaking.

And here it is in all its glory.
