The Beyond Worlds of Artist Denis Nunez Rodriguez

Denis Núñez Rodríguez is a contemporary Cuban artist who works in the genres of realism and surrealism. His paintings are difficult to understand, but that is precisely what makes them so attractive. The artist depicts an alternative reality, where everything is arranged differently from ours. The only constant is female beauty, which is always in the center of the composition. (Caution! Denis Nunez Rodriguez was born in 1967 in Matanzas, Cuba. His parents had nothing to do with art. The artist's father was a military man and his mother was a seamstress.

But when Denis began to draw, his parents accepted his choice with understanding. In 1982, the boy entered the provincial art school of Matanzas. After graduating in 1986, he continued his studies at the National School of Arts. There he received a diploma in drawing and later the title of professor of painting.

Denis Nunez Rodriguez devoted most of his life to children. He worked as a drawing teacher at school and also taught at a pedagogical institute. And of course, the artist never stopped painting his amazing and beautiful pictures.

The artist regularly exhibits his works through cultural organizations such as the United Artists World Organization, Art Without Borders for Peace, and the Aires de Cordoba Cultural Association.

The artist's portraits are characterized by psychological and original elements, reflecting in the heroes a state of intimacy, loneliness and captivity. In addition, in his canvases, elements of still life and landscape are often found in states impossible for human understanding.
