Adrian Gray has a strange hobby - he is in the fact that he puts stones on stones in order to achieve perfect balance. Drawing inspiration from nature, he studies the shape, distribution of weight and the interaction of stones with stones. The photographs you will see were taken by Michael Buck. Each work of art bears the imprint of the landscape in which Gray has placed it. All works, however, are located on the coasts of Great Britain.
“In balancing stones, it is important to pay attention to the senses – from the sense of gravity to understanding the sense of place, so that the stones perfectly match the surroundings.”
