Inside the sarcophagus 3000 year old mummies found in unique patterns

In the sarcophagus of a 3,000 year-old mummy, which was stored in Perth Museum in Scotland, has found a unique figure, which shows the ancient Egyptian goddess. Mummy did not get out of the sarcophagus, more than 100 years.

This wooden sarcophagus is older than 3 thousand years is now kept in the Museum of the city of Perth, in Scotland. The mummy that lies inside the sarcophagus belonged to a priestess or a Princess from Thebes, known as Ta-Kr-Hb (TA-Coeur-Cheb). It did not reach more than 100 years since it was discovered.

The mummy of the Princess at the time, suffered from the raiders, who were trying to find inside the jewelry. Recently Scottish scientists have decided to take additional measures for the conservation of the fragile mummy to represent her at the show, scheduled for 2022, and during the procedure found an interesting discovery.

During the restoration of the sarcophagus, scientists have discovered its inner surface drawings. They were later identified as the image of the goddess Amentet goddess of the West (in the mythology of Ancient Egypt it symbolized the realm of the dead), and patroness of fertility.

The plans of the archaeologists is to investigate the figures and the sarcophagus and next to learn more about the history of the mummy, which dates back to around 760-525 years BC. Society of natural history and archaeology gave the mummy to the Museum in Perth in 1936. Initially it was presented collector William Bailey, who acquired the mummy the curator of the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
