A muscular bodybuilder claims that eating meat has led him to gain excess weight, depression and inability to achieve the desired shape. 40-year-old German Steve Pilot became a vegan ten years ago, traveling in Asia. He is sure that it was veganism that changed his life for the better.
As a child and youth, Steve ate meat every day. At the same time, despite an active lifestyle, he suffered from mental health problems and gained excess weight. Later, he joined the ranks of the German land forces and got into the special forces.

Now the 40-year-old bodybuilder lives in Thailand. He says that he constantly felt as if he was missing something important in life. The man trained hard, but could not get rid of the hated fat and achieve the desired shape. Ten years have passed. Steve went on a trip around the world and, while in Asia, got acquainted with veganism.

The vegan diet was not yet popular at that time, but the German liked it. After several weeks on a diet consisting only of vegetables and fruits, Steve noticed impressive results. His mood, sleep and general condition of the body improved.

Since then, for 10 years, the bodybuilder does not eat meat. He claims that he feels better than in his youth. The vegan diet changed his life. Thanks to her, Steve built a career in the field of fitness after 30 years.

The German says that veganism implies clear principles, and plant-based food is very nutritious. He believes that meat contains a lot of stress hormones, because at the time of killing, adrenaline and other substances are released in the animal's body, which negatively affect the health of a person who eats meat.
Steve is sure that after giving up meat, his mental health has improved, and even his views on life have become more serious. His horizons have expanded, and now he believes that people and animals have equal rights. Humanity must respect nature not only for its own well-being, but also for the preservation of life on the planet.
Meanwhile, his wife helped the Briton to change beyond recognition and become a bodybuilder. Inspired by her support, the man lost 50 kg and turned from a fat man with shortness of breath into a toned handsome man with a relief body.
