Valerie's death shocked her family. They assured that the woman never abused alcohol, led an active lifestyle and monitored her health. Her family is quite wealthy: the woman lived in a house worth 1.3 million pounds with a stable.

When Valerie was brought to the UK, an autopsy showed that the cause of death was alcohol intoxication. It was found that the alcohol level in her blood was 4.5 times higher than the limit. The abundance of alcohol led to the fact that the woman's lungs were filled with liquid.
