A stuffed toy replaced the little chimpanzee's mother when the real one abandoned him

Unfortunately, there are cases in the animal world when mothers leave their children. Little Djibril was abandoned by his parent, but he found a replacement for her. The baby was warming himself, hugging a toy monkey in a Spanish zoo, until he was taken into care by a real chimpanzee.A baby chimpanzee found a new friend when his mother abandoned him. He was warming up in the arms of a big stuffed monkey.

Little Djibril was born in a zoo in Malaga, Spain. The baby had to quickly learn to survive on his own, after his mother, nicknamed Kika, refused him.

A mother chimpanzee was rescued from a circus where she was constantly bullied. Perhaps because of this, she did not get the skills of motherhood.

Now the chimpanzee Jebril is already 16 months old. He was moved to his foster mother Eva at the zoo in Valencia.

Zoo workers believe that thanks to this baby they will be able to preserve a rare species of Western chimpanzees.
