A kid with Down syndrome conquered Gerber with his smile and became the face of a baby food company

The popular baby food manufacturer Gerber annually holds an online contest to choose a baby who will become the face of the company for the whole year. In 2018, the choice fell on Lucas Warren from Georgia, USA. The baby has Down syndrome.

Lucas' parents, Courtney and Jason, took part in the contest because Lucas' godmother convinced them that it was impossible to miss such an opportunity, because Lucas is a very cute baby. Courtney and Jason posted a photo of their son on Instagram, and a few months later it turned out that he would represent Gerber in 2018. Lucas was chosen from 140,000 applicants, and now his family will receive $50,000.

Thanks to his victory, Lucas made history. For the first time, a child with Down syndrome became the face of Gerber.

When Lucas doesn't win the hearts of others with his smile, he plays hide-and-seek, watches Disney shows and listens to music.
