1. In the past, people died before the age of 30.
In prehistoric times, the average life expectancy was about 30 years, but this does not mean that all people died at the age of 29. The high infant mortality rate has reduced life expectancy. But the maximum age was often well over 30.

2. Lightning does not strike the same place twice.
Contrary to popular belief, lightning can strike the same place twice. Moreover, according to research, this happens not so rarely.

3. Drink 8 glasses of water a day.
If you try to drink enough water but find it very difficult to drink that 8th glass, don't do it. This means that you have already drunk enough water. This is not a universal number! The important thing you should do is drink water when you are thirsty.

4. 1 year of a dog's life is equal to 7 human years.
If you want to calculate how old your dog is in terms of human age, you don't have to believe the 7:1 principle. It really depends on the breed and size of your pet. This myth came from children's math problems back in the 60s when they had to calculate the age of dogs using this principle.

5. Goldfish only remember things for 3 seconds.
Goldfish can really remember things for longer than 3 seconds. Scientists from Israel conducted a study in which they tried to teach goldfish to get food after they hear a certain sound. After 5 months, the fish remembered the sound.

6. Bulls react to red.
In fact, bulls don't see color, they only see movement. They get annoyed when they see a piece of cloth in front of them.
