24 incredible photos of wildlife from the winners of the competition BigPicture Natural World

Each year the California Academy of Sciences (it is a large natural history Museum) in San Francisco holds an international photo contest Natural World Photography. This year the leaders asked photographers from all over the world to send "images, showing the rich diversity of life on Earth that will inspire action for its protection and conservation."

Photographers have coped with the task brilliantly! Look at their best work.

On the winning photo Andy Parkinson of mountain hare curled up, hiding from winter storm in Scotland. For this photo the photographer a few weeks endured bitter cold and wind, but in the end, he turned out masterpiece frame.

The people of Samburu who lives in Kenya, has launched a sanctuary for the rehabilitation of orphaned elephants who have suffered at the hands of poachers, and other programs for the conservation of endangered species such as the reticulated giraffe. This people are very reverent attitude to animals.
