Worse than pigs: landlord got 5 thousand pounds for cleaning after untidy tenants

Tenants in the UK left behind housing in such a state that the hostess almost fainted when she saw it. Dirty household appliances, a litter—strewn floor and a garden littered with torn garbage bags are just some of the horrors that the landlord had to face after the negligent tenants moved out.

The four-bedroom house in question is located in Trealaw, Wales. It was rented by Howells Properties. The owner of the real estate company, 50-year-old Lisa Howells, called the situation a nightmare. Of course: the cleaning company billed 5 thousand pounds (6.4 thousand dollars) for cleaning this unlucky dwelling.

Lisa Howells posted photos of the discovered pogrom on the Facebook page of her real estate company. The woman wrote: "I would like to say thank you to the person or family who left our property in such a terrible state that it seemed to me that vile wild pigs lived here. I usually don't like to be ashamed and won't give names for legal reasons, but really—who lives like that anyway?"

"I hope they will never be able to do this to anyone else's housing again, because the before and after photos turned out to be just heartbreaking," the woman added.

According to Lisa Howells, it took six weeks to clean the house before new residents moved in. She gave a comment to the local edition of Wales Online: "It's sad. It really upsets me, because we try to be good homeowners. It took more than six weeks to get everything in order. I usually never post such photos, but this time I was very angry."
