Jessie planned to reach a speed of 1000 km / h, but her equipment could not withstand the load and a crash occurred.

The tragic case occurred in Oregon, USA, in the Alvord desert. The dried-up lake, located in the middle of the desert, has long been favored by fans of speed records. Earlier, in October 2013, Combs achieved an incredible 640.5 km/h on this track behind the wheel of a jet-powered Eagle Supersonic Speed Challenger. Later, the rider managed to reach the mark of 772 km / h, but this record remained unconfirmed.

On August 27, 39-year-old Jessie Combs planned to set a new record and accelerate her device to 1000 km/h. According to preliminary information, the cause of the crash was a technical malfunction that destroyed the equipment at high speed. P

Jessie Combs is said to have "left this earth moving faster than any other woman in history" and that's actually the case.
