One of the Frenchman's first successful photo projects was the Back To Childhood series, which tells a touching story about Julien's own children's toys. After that, the photographer made a successful attempt to describe in photographs the romance between a young man and a girl, from dating and first date to parting. And his most impressive project was, perhaps, After Lights Out ("When the lights are out"), which contains pictures of lonely islands of light against the background of general twilight.
