Passengers in those days flew like kings: enjoying their personal space, eating delicious food, sipping cocktails with a cigarette right in the seat. This is what the "golden era of passenger aviation" looked like.


Of course, in real life, the aisles between the seats were not so wide: this advertising shoot took place in the studio, not on board the plane.

But still, in those days, the level of service was much higher than the modern one.


All these photos are from the archives of Swissair. What about the other airlines of those years? Was the flight to the 60s the same luxury? Definitely yes.
