Now, perhaps, you wouldn't eat it, but as a child we ate everything we were given, for both cheeks, because we wanted to eat all the time.
But we will not indulge in memories in this post, but rather look at what students are given for lunch in other countries of the world.

Lunch at a school in Bangalore, India — rice, sweet rasagula (or egg) for dessert and something similar to a dish with peas.
Japan, lunch at elementary school — milk, soup, bread and seemingly pickled cucumbers.

South Korea — kimchi (Korean cabbage), twenjan (Korean soy paste), stewed meat with rice and grapes.
Guatemala — flatbread, hard-boiled egg, tomatoes and fruit juice.
Lunch at a Texas school, USA — tacos with flatbread, chips, mashed potatoes, pudding and a drink.
Finland — salad, curry chicken, beans and carrots, pudding and milk.
Sweden — crusty bread, shredded cabbage salad, potatoes and stew.
