What did Louis Mattara's Cadillac look like, a 1947 car that had... everything

Louis Mattar - owner of a garage in San Diego, a famous master of remaking cars. In 1952, he presented his top-end development – a converted 1947 Cadillac ,which had a shower, washing machine, oven and even a small living room-in short, everything to turn the car into a comfortable hotel room!

In the trunk – not only the luggage, but also the equipment that ensures the operation of the water pipe in the car.

There's a washing machine in the back seat.

After washing.

An ironing board is built into the back of the rear seat. Behind it are sockets that you can plug in a toaster or an electric razor.

You can have fun without getting up from behind the wheel.

Built-in shower. The water is supplied by a miniature water system built into the machine.

In the socket located in the trunk, you can turn on any electrical appliances for outdoor use.

The car even had a built-in drinking fountain with clean water supply.
