By Pictolic https://www.pictolic.com/article/wat-rong-khun-the-white-temple-of-thailand.htmlBelieve it or not, Wat Rong Khun, better known as the White Temple, is not some fabulous illustration or fantasy of a 3D designer, it is a real place. And it is located in Thailand. The temple was built not so long ago, in 1997, according to the project of Thai artist Chalermchayu Kositpipat. Unfortunately, in May of this year, the temple was severely damaged by an earthquake, almost destroyed, it was even stated that the beautiful structure could not be restored. Currently, access to many rooms is closed due to cracks formed in the walls. However, the decision on reconstruction has been made, and Wat Rong Khun will be fully restored.
