By Pictolic https://www.pictolic.com/article/war-of-the-worlds-in-vietnam.htmlA Vietnam War veteran has published incredible night photos that look like scenes from science fiction films about the war of the worlds. He made them when the US military at Hensinger base in Phu Tai opened fire on a Viet Cong sniper who began to fire on them. Then, in April 1970, James Speed Heisinger was a 22-year-old paratrooper in the 173rd Airborne Brigade. For more than four decades, he kept these photographs in his possession, not showing them to the public.
