Unknown photos of Bruce Lee from the family archive

Today, on November 27, in honor of Bruce Lee's birthday, we publish photos from his family archive. 

What man in his childhood did not parody the honed and fast movements of martial artist Bruce Lee. It was thanks to him that films about martial arts became popular, because the iconic American and Hong Kong actor interested the whole world in various types of Chinese martial arts. 

We are used to seeing Bruce Lee always focused, sweaty and covered in blood, defeating another villain thanks to his incredible technique of lightning-fast and accurate strikes, always hitting the target. Perhaps that's why these photos seem so unusual. On them, the famous actor appears in the image of a caring father and a loving husband, always smiling and happy with his wife and two children.

Bruce Lee, whose childhood name was Li Xiaolong ("little dragon"), with his wife Linda, son Brandon and daughter Shannon.

Bruce Lee taught his young son kung fu using a special jitkundo system developed by him.

Brandon Lee later also became a martial artist.

The actor met his future wife Linda Avery at the University of Washington when she was 17 years old. By the way, Linda also studied kung fu with Bruce Lee.

Bruce Lee and his family lived in Hong Kong for a while. His daughter Shannon also studied several types of martial arts.

Bruce Lee was a man of incredible physical abilities. He could hold a weight of 34 kilograms on his outstretched arm for several seconds.

Before becoming a martial arts master, Bruce Lee took cha-cha-cha lessons at the age of 14 and became a dance champion in Hong Kong. He offered his first kung fu teacher an exchange of knowledge — the teacher would teach him martial arts, and Bruce would teach him to dance cha-cha-cha.
