Tourists "populated" a baby dolphin to death

We are already used to the fact that a smartphone or tablet performs a lot of computing or organizational tasks for us. Last week, a baby Franciscan dolphin, along with a relative, came ashore into the hands of vacationers in the resort of Santa Teresita (Buenos Aires, Argentina). The animals were fished out of the water so that two-legged morons people could take pictures with them.

Experts from the Wildlife Foundation urged anyone who sees a dolphin washed up on the shore to send the animal back into the water as soon as possible.

Franciscan dolphins are considered a rare species — found only in Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil. There are about 30 thousand individuals of this subspecies left in the world.
