Hidden on the island of Eleutra in the heart of the Caribbean, the resort opened its doors two years ago and has already become popular among overweight people who are looking for an exotic and non-judgmental place to relax. Moreover, you can't check into this hotel at all if your weight is not big enough — and all in order not to embarrass other guests.

The British channel decided to find out what it's like to relax in a hotel where there are no skinny people. He sent a group of British tourists to the resort, who are not distinguished by a skinny physique. Each of the participants said that because of his size, he hates beach holidays.

When a group of Britons arrived at the resort, they had a session of confidential therapy with them — each guest told his story. Alice, a mother of two, who is only 31 years old, admitted that she was so worried about weight that she was already planning her own funeral.

Amy and her husband Adam said that their honeymoon was a disaster, the girl did not like her photos from the beach, and she deleted most of them. "If she's unhappy, I'm unhappy," says Adam, who weighs almost 140 kilograms. He was upset that his wife had not felt comfortable on vacation before.

Stephen from Scotland admitted that he hates his "upper body", but by the middle of the vacation he took the plunge and jumped into the pool.

27-year-old Dane twice canceled the wedding with his beloved Helen because he was not sure of himself. "I would like to do what I can't do now, I would like to marry Helen, whom I have loved all my life. We have already planned a wedding a couple of times, but each time I stopped this process because of uncertainty about how I look."

Plus-size model Holly Mcgillvray initially found the idea of a hotel offensive, but changed her mind after hearing that many were finally able to relax when they weren't being laughed at.

The whole complex was built from scratch for "big guests". In the hotel for the full around the pool there are sun loungers that can withstand a lot of weight, and the beds in the rooms are reinforced with steel bars so that vacationers are not afraid to collapse at night. The doorways, chairs and deck chairs are wider here, and even the toilets are made to order. A buffet is also served three times a day.

But, probably, the most important thing that vacationers come here for is "freedom from condemnation." Here no one will laugh at a person because of excess weight, which often happens to overweight people on ordinary beaches.

The resort was created by entrepreneur James King. He said that the idea came to his mind 14 years ago when he witnessed an episode: an overweight man broke a chaise longue, and since the humiliation was not enough, he also paid a fine of $ 150.

James King says that 60 percent of his clients are Americans, the rest are from European countries, such as the UK and Spain. However, if you plan to relax at the resort, you need to take into account that The Resort accepts people in groups, it will not be possible to come alone.
