Not everyone woke up the next morning at home - someone met the first day of the new 2014 in the police station, someone in a hospital bed. According to the results, on January 1, about 100 arrests were registered in London alone: several rapes, dozens of violations of law and order, fights, drunk driving, and so on.
In this issue you will see how the New Year was celebrated in the major cities of Foggy Albion: scandalous photos published by the British tabloid Daily Mail.

1. Despite the rain, fun in the British capital is in full swing. "Supermen" frolic in London's Soho.

2. Your burden does not pull.
In London, 250 thousand people took to the streets, who were not afraid of wet weather. They enjoyed the first "multi-sensory" fireworks and also tasted peach snow, banana confetti and orange-flavored bubbles.

3. Public order in the capital of Great Britain on New Year's Eve was provided by 3,800 police officers.
As a result, up to 4:30, 100 violators were arrested. 39 people were taken into custody for appearing drunk in a public place, and 21 detainees are charged with assault. The rest of those arrested are suspected of drug trafficking, hooliganism, rape, theft and carrying weapons.

4. As usual, young Britons do not know the limits in alcoholic libations.
Swansea, Manchester, Newcastle, Birmingham and London - in all major British cities people indulged in unrestrained and far from cultured fun.

Although New Year's Eve arrests across Britain were fewer than usual. The reason for this was bad weather and heavy rains, because of which many preferred to stay at home rather than celebrate the upcoming 2014 on the streets.

20. But not everyone was motivated by alcohol to fight and delinquent. Someone chose to look for love, like these girls sitting at the entrance to one of the clubs in Newcastle.
