The Supreme court of Portugal ordered the man to pay more than 60 thousand euros (about 5.5 million) to his former mistress for the home work it performed for 30 years while they lived together.

Then the woman went to the court of Appeal, which upheld her claim, he decided to pay her compensation in the amount of 60 782 euros.

In order to evaluate the work of women, the court has adopted the criterion of the national minimum wage. He multiplied the sum of the first 12 months, then 30 — for so many years, the couple lived together. Of the total removed one — third the cost of a woman.
