Michal Chelbin was born in Israel in 1974. Exhibitions of her work were held in Los Angeles, New York, Tel Aviv, Portland, London, Detroit, Rome, Athens, Brussels. The photographer has received the following awards for her work: 2005 Israeli Photographer Prize, 2002-2003 Rabinowitz Foundation Grant, 2002 America-Israel Cultural Foundation Grant. Publications: NY Arts Magazine, Aperture, C Magazine, B&W Magazine.
