The owner was scaring the Yezidi woman that he would sell her two-year-old daughter to a woman from Iraq. Later, the owner forced her to get pregnant, and then changed his mind and she was forced to have an abortion. Fortunately, Leila managed to escape with her children and daughter-in-law by paying a smuggler.

Bill Wiley, head of the International Commission of Justice, says that the ISIS terrorists were determined to destroy all Yezidis. Last year, about 3,500 slaves were freed from the clutches of militants. The families paid a ransom for most of them.Nevertheless, according to the Yezidi community in Iraqi Kurdistan, more than 2,900 Yezidis who were in slavery remain unaccounted for, including 1,300 women and children.
