Awards are presented in several categories: "The best portrait", "Birds in nature", "Attention to detail", "Bird behavior", "Birds in flight", "Garden and urban birds", "Creative", "Young Photographer of the Year". The organizers of the competition help to preserve rare species: they donate money for research to the British Ornithology Foundation.
We present the best pictures of 2018 that made it to the final of the competition.
