The East End of London and its people: photographs of the early XX century
These black and white images are surprisingly well preserved. In them we see the Whitechapel area, located in the heart of London's East End. This place is repeatedly mentioned in the novels of Charles Dickens and crime reports — right here once wielded himself Jack the Ripper.
