The Czech NPP organized a swimsuit competition to choose an intern. Ran into a scandal
I wonder if there are any topics that can be raised on Facebook so that there is not a single dissatisfied person in the comments? Probably not…
Czech nuclear power plant Temelin, it would seem, chose a win—win option - a slender female body. In their group, they launched an unusual beauty contest: they photographed ten girls in swimsuits on the territory of the NPP and invited the audience to choose the most attractive one. As a reward for the beauty who will collect the most likes, a paid internship was determined. But the flow of comments did not go in the direction that the organizers had hoped for.

"A poor and ignorant step on the part of the NPP management," exclaims a certain Bara Bechvarova. — At the moment when the company finally began to move towards evaluating employees not by appearance, trainees suddenly begin to be chosen by the length of their legs." There is a suspicion that the respected Bara was once not hired by this company.

The angry comments didn't just come from zealous feminists, as one might think. There were also dissatisfied males. "Are you kidding?! Pyotr Zhirzak asks. — A girl in a swimsuit will get an internship, seriously?! Drawing attention to a half—naked female body is baseness. Dirty and disgusting sexism." Something about Mr. Zhirzak becomes clear if you read his comment to the end: "... Then why didn't you include guys in the competition? They probably also want to get an internship."

The organizers initially fought back with statements that all the participants really liked being photographed in the cooling tower. But soon I had to simply apologize: they say, they didn't want to offend anyone, all ten girls will get an internship, and in general we arranged all this for the sake of popularizing technical education.
