By Pictolic https://www.pictolic.com/article/the-crescent-moon-project-amazing-photos-taken-by-the-light-of-the-moon.htmlThe Argentine photographer Alejandro Chaskielberg received recognition because of his unusual pictures. He takes all the photos by the light of the moon, it has become his business card. In his project" Crescent", Alejandro reflected the difficult life of ordinary people in different countries and, above all, of course, in his native Argentina. Photos taken in the moonlight capture attention so much with their extraordinary nature that their social aspect seems to fade into the background.

Alejandro gave two years of his life to the photo project "Crescent". He even moved to live in the Parana River Delta, where he communicated and worked with local residents every day.

The Parana River stretches for more than 2500 kilometers. It is a source of water for many nearby orchards. Thanks to the river, the region has become one of the most fertile in the country.

Unfortunately, due to the endless floods, many local residents were forced to leave their homes. To a greater extent, this applies to the Parana Delta.

Alejandro's photos seem somehow unreal.

Of course, it's not easy to shoot like this. The shutter speed on the camera is long, and the people are alive. The photographer had to explain to them every time that they should not move.

After Alejandro told his heroes about the purpose of the project, they willingly agreed to do everything as he asked.

Alejandro's works have received awards at many photo contests.

The following photos were taken in Kenya, in the area of Lake Turkana, which was severely affected by the drought.
