The fresh vegetables and fruits from his paintings just beg to be put on the table. But in the world, Schwerin is better known as the author of spectacular female nude portraits, although the master did not paint that many of them. (Caution! Nude nature).

Ron Schwerin was born in 1940 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. He began to show his talent for painting as a child, so his parents did not resist when Ron went to study at the Pratt Institute in New York.

It is worth mentioning that the artist's entire life is connected with the Pratt Institute. After receiving his bachelor's degree, he stayed there to teach. Today, Schwerin also lectures on painting and drawing at two other prestigious US universities: the New York Institute of Technology and the University of Rhode Island.

Despite his advanced age and busy schedule, Ron Schwerin continues to paint and participate in exhibitions in his homeland and abroad. In addition, the artist works as a freelance photographer. Working with a camera, he has also achieved serious heights and has won prestigious competitions more than once.

Ron Schwerin's female portraits are painted in the style of realism. All of them were created from life. The artist places a minimum of objects on the canvas, and most often there is only a woman in the picture. At first glance, the artist's works seem monotonous, but if you look closely, you can notice many details that make the canvas unique.

French artist Francine Van Hove paints her pictures in a similar style.
