In this stunning photo project, Susan Stein demonstrates the inhabitants of the streets of the Los Angeles neighborhood of Skid Row. It enjoys a bad reputation because about 6 thousand homeless and drug addicts live here. Among them, for example, Doreen, a former fire department employee who got hooked on crack, and Jerry, whose face has a terrible injury that he received during a bus accident 10 years ago. 

Genevin is a heroin addict who, according to her, exploits her body to feed herself and a boyfriend.
