Photographer Mirko Nahmiasa sees Belgrade differently than others. In his photographs, the city appears as a futuristic architectural creation. In most cases, of course, the buildings themselves really carry a futuristic meaning, but sometimes the whole frame depends on the angle that the photographer chooses. 

The architectural style depicted in the photographs is sometimes called socialist modernism, sometimes socialist realism, sometimes brutalism.

It seems as if these photos were taken in the future and somehow incredibly got to us…
