Self-portraits of Ri Rasmussen - sexy, intellectual, free

In this issue, there are more than 20 self-portraits of Ri Rasmussen, a Danish woman who, in addition to her impressive Scandinavian appearance and cool temper, boasts a considerable number of professions she has successfully mastered. A model, an actress, a director, a screenwriter, a producer, an artist, and finally a photographer.

It would seem that in our time, who can be surprised by the length of the track record? And won't this once again be an obvious victory of quantity over quality? However, Rasmussen seems to dispel prejudice very stoically.

Ri Rasmussen was born and raised in Copenhagen. At the age of 15, a girl is noticed by a scout of the Next Model Management agency in New York, and, as it is easy to assume, her modeling career begins with this. From the age of 15, she lived in the USA, was engaged in the modeling business, was the face of Gucci and Victoria's Secret. She was photographed by almost all the great photographers. Graduated from film school in the USA. Ri Rasmussen made her film debut in Brian De Palma's erotic thriller Femme Fatale (2002). Actively interested in politics, not indifferent to human rights.

Next, Ri independently shoots several quite strong short films, and in 2006 he presents his first "big" film called Human Zoo, which was included in the program of the Berlin Film Festival. Frank, juicy, tough and poetic at the same time, but at the same time a very solid and serious movie, which is difficult to consider as a "first experience".

In parallel with the shooting, Rasmussen draws and is engaged in photography. Under the pseudonym Lily Dillon Rea published the book Grafiske Historier, the album consists of self-portraits, sketches, paintings and graphics.

Ri draws, photographs, writes scripts, swears, travels a lot, makes films… She doesn't have any free time at all.
