Carolyn Mara Borlenghi (Carolyn Mara Borlenghi) is an American photographer from Miami. She was born in 1979 in Italian family who lived at that time in Houston, Texas. Carolyn started interest in photography while studying at school, Sacred HART. In 2002, she received the degree of bachelor of science (psychology) at southern Methodist University, and in 2006 — a master in fine arts (photography, video).

Using a photo as a catalyst of self-discovery, Carolyn in his work upholds the balance between secrecy and public. It describes his work as a kind of quest that requires thoughtful reflection in order to understand invested in their meaning.

"When they approached mid-thirties, the time that, according to everything I read, was to be the peak of my sexuality, my husband fell into a deep depression, from which it could not escape. I always felt passion and desire, but from his side, they were not.

Suddenly I was invisible. Husband didn't want me, despite all my attempts to fix the situation, and I realized that I never know how much I want to be wanted. I felt lonely and was slowly losing himself.

But then I took the camera and decided to send the lens on themselves. Understanding and implementation of each picture is become my salvation. I needed to get rid of pain and loneliness, I had to declare to the world and to herself, "I'm still here! I still mean something!"

And I'm starting to realize that the creative process was more than the applicable cure than anything else.
