Russian astronaut became the prototype of the new Barbie dolls

Mattel known worldwide as a manufacturer of Barbie dolls, announced a new toy in its range. The brand has released a doll in the image of a 36-year-old Anna Kikunoi — the only female astronaut from the detachment of the Russian space Agency. It is known that Anna was attracted to the creation of toys — she participated in the discussion of its design.

New Barbie can be imagined in two suits blue flight suit and beige. In the main office Mattel told reporters that the new doll was created not for sale. This limited edition, issued specifically to reward the winners of the anniversary, 60th account the Day of Astronautics.

Need to clarify that this is not Barbie's first astronaut in the history of the company. Prior to that produced doll, a prototype of which was the American woman astronaut Sally Ride. Anna Kikina, unlike Sally, in outer space as yet was not — she was only waiting for inclusion in the crew of the ISS, which will happen from day to day.
