Robots 3D print a bridge over an Amsterdam canal

The company said in a statement that “3D printing an intricate, intricate bridge in a unique location is the perfect test for robots, software engineers, operators and designers. This is a research project, as well as an ideal way to demonstrate the endless possibilities of this technique.”
Project designer Joris Laarman believes that this is a kind of symbolism - “a great metaphor for the connection between future technologies and the old city. It's like taking the best of both worlds."
