Quasimodo, the ugliest dog in the world

Categories: Animals

Meet this humpbacked Quasimodo - she is ten years old, and at a recent competition she was recognized as the ugliest dog in the world. Quasimodo is a Pit Bull/Dutch Shepherd mix. She was born with spinal problems, which is why she looks so strange: a short round body and long legs, but there seems to be no neck - this is because of the missing vertebrae.

Florida residents Virginia Cyre and her husband Mike Carroll adopted Quasimodo from an orphanage.
