By Pictolic https://www.pictolic.com/article/overcrowded-mexico-city-aerial-view.htmlMexican photographer Pablo Lopez Muz presented a unique selection of photos of Mexico City from a bird's eye view. The Mexican capital appears in the pictures as an endless canvas of houses, covering the ground to the horizon.
Mexico City is the most populous city in the Western Hemisphere, and the outskirts of the city continue to spread outward. Now, according to official data alone, more than 20 million people live there, and the population density is 25.4 thousand people per square mile, or 9.8 thousand people per square kilometer, which is twice the population density of Moscow.

At the same time, the construction of infrastructure facilities lags far behind the number of new houses.

2. The photos of Lopez Muz were taken from the cockpit of a small two-seater plane.

4. Ecology in the metropolis leaves much to be desired and often the city is covered with poisonous smog and fog.
