O times! O morals! What erotic postcards looked like in the 20s

Categories: History

These erotic postcards were made in France at the beginning of the twentieth century. Unofficially, they were called "French postcards". However, it was illegal to send such postcards by mail, which is why they were exchanged secretly. The creation of such images could become quite a lucrative business for photographers who used pseudonyms in order not to damage their careers and reputations and not to get into trouble with the law. The identity of almost all the models on the "French Postcards" remains unknown.
