Love for Rasul Salikhov, a 29-year-old mosque attendant, and Kamila Asylgarayeva, a 14-year-old school student, came at first sight. But since the norms of Islam forbid guys and girls who are not married to communicate, they got married by performing the nikah ceremony. This union was approved by the bride's parents, but their words mean nothing if such a marriage is not approved by the law. As a result, Rasul ended up in jail, and a criminal case was opened against the bride's mother.

Rasul and Kamilya met a year ago at a mosque. The man served as an imam there, and the girl came to him to study the Koran and take Arabic lessons. The communication ended with the fact that they fell in love with each other and Rasul went to Kamili's parents to talk about mutual feelings. Mom and Dad didn't mind, but how to explain it to strangers?

Rasul and Kamil

The mosque attendant and the underage girl were not allowed to meet outside Kamili's house, and even there they could only sit at the same table in the presence of their parents. In order to give the couple the opportunity to communicate not only in lessons at the mosque and under the supervision of their father and mother, the imam and the girl were allowed to get married according to Muslim customs.

Despite the ceremony, no one even hinted about the bride moving to live with the groom. According to the agreement between Rasul and Kamili's father, the girl had to live in her parents' house until the age of 16. This suited absolutely everyone, since there was no fear of sin or human condemnation.

This is how she talked about her relationship with Kamil's fiance, after Rasul's arrest. It soon became clear that even such a chaste union was not to the liking of the guardianship authorities and local officials. Someone started a rumor that the girl's mother, Raila, almost put her daughter in bed with the imam.

The Asylgarayev family

On July 8, the police came to work with Raila Asylgarayeva and began to ask in detail about the relationship between her daughter and the man. The woman said that there could be no close relationship between the young people and that it was easy to check.

Despite this, soon on Rasul Salikhov opened a criminal case under Article 134 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Sexual intercourse and other sexual acts with a person under the age of sixteen." This was followed by an arrest and the man ended up in jail. And at the beginning of autumn, they tightly took up their mother, considering her one of the culprits of the criminal union of a schoolgirl and an adult man.

The lawyer of Kamili and her mother Ruslan Nagiyev explained to journalists. The lawyer claims that the absence of sexual contacts between Rasul and Kamila is beyond any doubt — this was confirmed by a medical examination. It is worth saying that the residents of the village where these events took place were shocked by the actions of the authorities and consider this case absurd.

At the same time, Salikhov's colleagues are not at all inclined to support the young minister of the mosque. The official representative of the Duma of Tatarstan, the elect of Kamili, although he served in a mosque, but did not have an official spiritual dignity. In this regard, the nikah committed by him cannot be considered valid. It is known that a criminal case has been opened against the girl's mother under articles 156 and 134 - because of the cruel treatment of a child. A court has already been held, which the woman lost, receiving a punishment in the form of an impressive monetary fine. But that's not all — the investigation is ongoing and Kamili's family does not know what to expect in the future. Rasul continues to be in jail and in the near future, most likely, he will not have a chance to be released.

In this case, the reaction of the authorities to the relationship between Rasul and Kamila is very controversial. But the vigilance of law enforcement officers can still be understood, because it often happens that a real marriage is concluded between a child and an adult man, with all the circumstances that follow from this.
