How to make an original Christmas tree with their hands

Emily Seilhamer husband and I don't need to push at the Christmas market — every year they make a Christmas tree from scrap materials and getting all creative. This time they have collected a fabulous spruce from 9 liters of glue, 7 kg of corn starch and numerous skeins of yarn. Had a lot of trouble, but the result was worth it!

Materials

First, they made a giant cone of wire mesh covered with paper

Then wrapped it with foil so that the glue is absorbed and the yarn is not stuck

Before winding cone yarn pre-soaked in a solution of glue and starch (one to one)

As ornaments they used balloons that the same principle was wrapped in colorful yarn, and when that has dried and hardened, burst them

A week later they removed the tree with a shape — the photo shows what's inside it's empty

Decoration is secured on the garland with lights

Garland hung on the tree and added a few small details
