Bernd and Julia met at a seminar in April 2019. They have been inseparable ever since. The couple lives in Frankfurt am Main. Bernd has three children from previous relationships, and two of them are older than his beloved.

A month after the lovers started living together, Bernd's apartment burned down. This happened because of the explosion of Yulia's laptop. The man received burns and spent some time in the hospital, but this brought the lovers even closer.
