1. Best Design at this year's Hotel Design Awards went to Cuckoo's Nest, a bar and restaurant located at the Radisson Blu Riverside Hotel, Gothenburg, Switzerland.

2. The inspiration for the interior design was drawn from the well-known art painting "A Beautiful Mind".

The origin of the idea began a year ago, when the hotel was still under construction. Malin Frank, general manager of the hotel, immediately decided to create a unique, inimitable design, which he did not hesitate to share with the architectural studio Stylt Trampoli, which was entrusted with all the work.

3. Table for 16 people. It was the close cooperation of designers and architects, who were able to realize everything, even the most impracticable ideas, that helped Cuckoo's Nest to be nominated for a prestigious award.

4. The goal was to create a meeting place for innovators, geeks and geniuses.

5. To do this, when creating the interiors, the designers relied on the area around the hotel and the thoughtful film, combining seemingly incompatible elements - an old English library, Swedish classrooms and a laboratory environment.

6. All this serves to completely liberate visitors, initiate their creative ideas and inspiration.

7. Some ideas and items that later became part of the decor were provided by such giants as Volvo and Ericsson.
