"Goodbye, forgotten Russia!": why photographer from Bryansk relieves the vanishing village

Pavel Kapustin, a photographer from Bryansk, the summer months 2014 spent travelling to the most remote Russian villages, where almost bereft of inhabitants. There is already not serviced by public transport, there are no schools and hospitals and even the roads where it was almost completely overgrown. A series of pictures from his trip, Paul decided to call "Forgotten Russia", thus attracting our attention to the pressing problem of the extinction of the Russian village.

Photographer Pavel Kapustin from Bryansk launched the project "Forgotten Russia." The focus of his attention — the remote villages and villages where only a few residents or not left at all anyone.

The main characters of the photo project "Forgotten Russia" — the inhabitants of the remote villages and dilapidated houses, about which all have forgotten. Thus the author tries to capture the evanescent nature of the Russian village, its unique household environment and lifestyle. The Pavel Kapustin "roots" in the village Paluzie Vygonichskogo district. Here was born his father, lives here with his uncle. Paluru to extinction is still far away, but what made the photographer to do such a project?

According to the photographer, the idea of the "Forgotten Russia" appeared even in the winter. And between its emergence and implementation took a lot of time. To prepare for work on the project had not only moral. Needed to decide where to go, decide exactly what and how to shoot.
