This installation dress was presented by the Finnish Institute at London's York Concert Hall in honor of the Design Festival, which took place from 22 to 25 September 2011.

Korean designer Aami Song created this dress to connect audiences and performers through more than just music. In his understanding, this dress became the connecting link between the two sides of the concert hall.

To “put on” the giant dress, the performer must climb a ladder.

It took 550 meters of fabric to sew the red dress.

The dress measures 20 meters in diameter and 3 meters in height.

The audience sits in 238 “pockets” of the dress around the singer.

Being in the folds of the dress, the audience completely joins what is happening, absorbing the wonderful atmosphere and becoming part of the performance.
