As in many countries of the world, the most specific rules of conduct related to marriage - an important and sacred ceremony for absolutely all peoples without exception.

2. In Polynesia, the bride has a special status. It is considered not only "impure", but also thoroughly saturated with various negative higher forces.

Since a girl marries “clean”, which is a prerequisite for the inhabitants of the subject, then in the process of marriage she must get rid of what “fills” her. After the end of a large-scale celebration, when all the guests had enough fun and rested, the girl enters into a relationship with all of them.
