The organizers of the exhibition are the authors of Telegram channels "Yeltsin Center", "Sgt. Pepe" and "Teen Angry".

The exhibition will take place in the House of Poets in Trekhprudny Lane from 13:00 to 17:00.

"Putin has long outgrown the status of president and has himself turned into an internationally famous meme — a popular character of media covers, demotivators, photojabs and videos. In terms of recognizability, the image of the Russian leader can be compared with the image of Superman," the organizers explain.

They explain that "they have passed through millions of memes and selected 50 of the most famous, witty and popular — starting with the "Putin Crab" that appeared in 2008 and ending with the most recent samples."

In addition to memes, the exhibition will feature a printed edition of a poem dedicated to the Russian leader, as well as a series of T-shirts on which Putin's photographs are made in the manner of famous artists: Van Gogh, Mondrian, Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol.

The exhibition is intended for both young people and older people, so each meme will be accompanied by an explanation that will help a wide audience understand the jokes.
